Guest card & visitor's tax

Göhren charges a visitor's tax (Kurabgabe) per overnight guest — in return you receive the resort's guest card with many discounts. Enter all travellers here and pay the visitor's tax conveniently online — plus a 2 % fee for guest registration and card handling; all amounts include VAT. We will then issue your guest cards. Children under 7 are exempt, children from 7 to under 14 pay half; arrival and departure day each count as one day. For dogs, Göhren charges 1.00 € per day.

Important to know: The visitor's tax is not a voluntary payment but a levy required by municipal law — it applies to all overnight guests. The guest card is checked regularly around the resort, for example on the beach or the promenade; anyone who cannot show one must expect a fine. Fortunately, it only takes a few minutes here — and then you can enjoy Göhren completely relaxed, with all guest benefits.

How it works: The guest cards are issued digitally and delivered by e-mail. From the main guest we therefore need an e-mail address, date of birth and home address. For all other travellers, name and date of birth are required. Optionally, you can enter a personal e-mail address for each person – that person will then receive their card directly at their own address; without one, all cards go to the main guest. We also store the main guest's e-mail address with the booking so we can send you important information about your stay.

Göhren reduces the visitor's tax from a degree of disability (GdB) of 80 — likewise for an accompanying person registered in the card (mark „B“). Once opened, a selection field appears for each person; please carry the card with you during your holiday, as it may be requested during checks.
